Southeastern Film Critics Association Winners


Yep, there are still some critics groups handing out awards. Today is was the Southeastern Film Critics Association who went for The Grand Budapest Hotel, which has been a popular choice in Screenplay and Production Design categories but gets its first Best Picture here. The winners:

Best Picture: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Best Director: Richard Linklater, Boyhood

Best Actress: Julianne Moore, Still Alice

Best Actor: Michael Keaton, Birdman

Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood

Best Supporting Actor: J.K. Simmons, Whiplash

Best Original Screenplay: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Best Adapted Screenplay: Gone Girl

Best Documentary: Life Itself

Best Foreign Language Film: Force Majeur

Best Animated Film: The Lego Movie

Best Ensemble: The Grand Budapest Hotel
